Nancy M. Berg, age 80, of Wonder Lake, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at JourneyCare Hospice of Barrington. She was born November 7, 1936 in Harvard, Illinois to Raymond and Evelyn (Steinberg) Graham. A resident of Wonder Lake for 56 years, Nancy was a member of Women of the Moose Chapter 364 in Woodstock for over 50 years. For several years, she was also active in the Girl Scouts and the Boy Scouts of America. As a young woman, Nancy lived with her father in Okinawa, Japan, and worked in a civil service job there. Nancy is survived by her four children, James (Lisa) Berg of Burlington, Wisconsin, Cindy (Randy) Gautier of Ingleside, Susan Berg of Wonder Lake, Pam (Danny) Sorenson of Wonder Lake; eight grandchildren, Jared, Nicole, Brittany, Michelle, Melissa, Michaela, Hannah (Andy), Jeremiah; two great-grandchildren, Cayden, Piper; four siblings, Kathy (Ken) Winkelhake, Anna Conners, Gussie (Brian) Daniels, and George (Bernie) Graham. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, on April 9, 2012; her son, Alan Berg on January 25, 2007; and her brother, Raymond Graham, on July 17, 2015. A memorial gathering in Nancy's honor will be held on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, 2017, beginning at noon at the home of her daughter & son-in-law, Pam & Dan Sorenson, 6514 Greenwood Road, Wonder Lake, IL 60097. Inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Woodstock.
