Naomi Johnson Tarvin died February 25, 2017.

A native of Giles County Tennessee, she spent her adult life in Huntsville and Gadsden.

She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and a former member of Walnut Park Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by parents Johnnie and Mamie Creek Johnson, husband Woodrow Tarvin, brothers Herbert Johnson, Elmo Johnson, Harold Johnson and the best Grandmother in the whole wide world, Lucy Frances Creek, and special niece Linda J. Cheves.

She was survived by son John T. (Susan) Tarvin and daughter Louann (David) Burton, grandchildren Wilson Abel, Chris (Jessica) Burton and Amy Burton.

The family will receive friends Tuesday February 28th from 6 to 8 PM at Collier Butler.

Funeral services will be at Collier Butler at 12:30 PM on Wednesday March 1st. At her request in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Annie Armstrong Mission Offering at Bellevue Baptist Church, Gadsden. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.

Brother Roger Graham and Brother Willis Kelly will officiate. Interment will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.
