Nazzie Davis of Midwest City, OK passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at her home at the age of 87. She was born on February 6, 1930 in Spaulding, OK to the union of Timmie Barnett Wolf and Lizzie Gaino Wolf. Nazzie married Benjamin Davis and they had two sons, Benjamin, Jr. and Charles. She was a smart and selfless person. She loved her family and her greatest accomplishments where her children and grandchildren, whom she loved to cook for, her favorites where chicken fried steak and fried chicken. During her younger years she played basketball and kept up with the children's sports. She worked at Tinker AFB in freight logistics and is a member of Wewoka Indian Baptist Church.
Nazzie is preceded in death by her parents; husband Benjamin; brothers, Sampson and Bill Wolfe. She is survived by her sons, Benjamin, Jr. and Charles; grandchildren, Chase and Jordan; sister, Martha Yahola; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. Visitation will be held Monday, October 23, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home, 8805 Northeast 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Wewoka Indian Baptist Church, East 14th Street and Indian Road, Wewoka, OK with interment will follow at Davis Family Cemetery in Sasakwa, OK.
