Nelson was born on November 29, 1939 and passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018.

Nelson was a resident of Deansboro, New York at the time of passing.

He was a graduate of Waterville Central School in 1957.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957-1962 as an instructor for radio control communications at Keesler Air Force Base Biloxi, MS.
