Neva Ora Irelan (Nee Rose)Passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on November 29 th 2016 at 10:20 in the morning at Seasons Hospice in Waukesha, in the presence of her loving daughters Tina and Vicki who kept a watchful vigil over her. The daughter of Vincent John Rose and Ora Eldora Rose (nee Schubert); grand daughter of Frederick W. Schubert and Emma M. Schubert (nee Harbrect), is finally reunited with the love of her life, Gerald P. Hester, who passed away in Phoenix, AZ in 2005. Neva, known as "Niki" by her oldest, closest friends, shared the same love of photography as her Grandpa Schubert. Toward the end of World War II The All-American Girl showed her patriotism by joining the Civil Air Patrol. As a 1949 graduate of North Division High School she was an accomplished drummer in the band, a member of the Debate Team, Math, Chess, and Chemistry Clubs. She also got an early start of being a know-it- all as a member of the National Honor Society. She is survived by her 9 beloved children: Brad, Geri Gossink (Scott), Leonard (Cynthia), Lynn Michael(Faye), Tina Roberts (Harry), Cheryl Lyn Fischer (Deane), Carol-Le Stewart (Mark), Vicki Sue Widul(Thomas/Geraldine), and Christopher; who have provided her with 16 grand children: Ericka, Monica(Jay), and Rebecca (Michael) from Brad; Keri (Steven), Gordon (Amy), and Traton from Geri; Becky(Casey) and Ashley from Lee; Dylan and Noelle from Lynn Michael; Jacob (deceased as an infant in 1998)from Cheryl Lyn; Colleen (Dan) and Cassandra (James) from Carol-Le; Christeka from Vicki, Connor and Kelsey from Christopher. But wait… there's more: 17 great-grandchildren: Dominic, Nina, Noah, Mohrin, Candice, Alyson, Larz, Londyn, Jordyn, Sawyer, Emry, Austin, Elijah, Jonah, Rupert, Chelsea (Kyle), and Jake (Melanie); and even 3 great-great- grandchildren: Nina, Cecilia and Hudson. Visitation Fri, Dec 2 nd at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5901 West Way, Greendale, from 10am until time of service at 12 noon. Interment at Kiel City Cemetery, Kiel WI. In lieu of flowers memorials to God's Work Today or The Word Today through our Shepherd Lutheran Church.
