Norbert was born on February 1, 1921 and passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016.

Norbert was a resident of Celina, Ohio at the time of passing.

He attented the St. Henry School.

Norbert served during WWII with General Patton's Army. He was a Life Member of St. Marys V.F.W. Post 9289. Norbert Mary were extremely proud of their 4 Grandsons who served in the military. Sean Reser who retired after serving 20 years in the U.S. Air Force; Jordan Mihm served 8 years in the Air Force; Corey Kohnen with 19 years of service in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps; and Jonathan Kohnen who served 15 years of active duty with the U.S. Army and 2 years in the Army Reserves.

Norbert was married to Mary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday October 18 at Immaculate Conception Church in Celina with Fr. Ken Alt C.PP.S. presiding. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Celina with military rites by Celina American Legion Post 210 and V.F.W. Post 5713. Calling Hours are 2:00-6:00 P.M. Monday October 17 and 9:15-10:15 A.M. on Tuesday at W.H. Dick Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Celina.
