Norma Villanueva Reyes, age 55, passed away on March 25, 2015 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Norma was born on January 9, 1960 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She started as a candy striper at the age 13. After high school, she became a medication aide and did private duty. She was employed with Dor-An's Home Health Services, Inc., for many years, and worked for Dr. Hector P. Garcia. He encouraged her to become a nurse and worked for Dr. Kiko Garcia. Norma was an avid bingo player, loved to dance, play cards and enjoyed camping with her boys.

She leaves behind her common-law husband, Abram Reyes; her sons, Jacob De La Garza, Adolfo Arredondo, Gilbert Villanueva; her parents, Hector D. and Genoveva De La Garza; her sisters, Irma De La Garza, Diana Brown, Martha Salinas (David); her brother, Hector De La Garza (Lucy); numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Visitation will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church with a Rosary to be recited at 12:30 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
