Odesia "Chappy" Vasiliou, 92, of Nashua, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2016 at home, after a brief illness, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Nashua, NH on October 2, 1923, son of the late Cosmas and Helen (Koutsokolis) Vasiliou.

He was a lifelong resident of Nashua, an active member of St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, was also a part of the Ahepa and Macedonia organizations, and was a regular volunteer at the annual Greek Festival. He also served in the U.S. Army. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his loving grandson Matthew.

Chappy leaves behind his wife of nearly 60 years, Nefeli (Alvanos) Vasiliou, a son, William Vasiliou of Nashua, daughter Helen and her husband Ken of Laconia, NH, and a most beloved grandson, Matthew of Seattle, WA. He also leaves his brother Charles Vasiliou of Nashua, along with nieces and nephews.
A visiting hour will be held from 10:00AM-11:00AM at St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, 500 W. Hollis St. with a funeral service immediately following. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, 101 Kinsley St. Nashua immediately after.
