Ottie was born on May 8, 1946 and passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018.

Ottie was a resident of Bluefield, West Virginia at the time of passing.

Buddy was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, received his Bachelor's from Concord College and a Master's Degree from Marshall University.

He was a member of the McDowell Masonic Lodge 112, where he was currently serving as the Worship Master, and was a member of the Beni Kedem Shrine Temple. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Grandview Memory Gardens on the Bluefield-Tazewell Road with Pastors Randall Dority and Arble Morgan officiating, Masonic rites will be conducted by the McDowell Masonic Lodge 112 at the gravesite.
