Otto was born on May 25, 1941 and passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019.

Otto was a resident of Louisville, Kentucky at the time of passing.

Otto graduated Phi Kappa Phi, from the University of Louisville in the mid-1960s with a Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Education, and Masters (with Honors) in Theory and Composition, before pursuing several successful careers.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to St. Vincent DePaul School in Louisville.
