Patricia Ann (Willis) Kettwig, 83
Patricia A. Kettwig, 83 of Owatonna died Oct. 4, 2016 at her home. Friends may greet the family on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 5:00 pm until the time of services at Brick – Meger Funeral Home (1603 – Austin Road, Owatonna.) A memorial service will follow at 6:30 pm.
Born Patricia Ann Willis on August 8, 1933 in Osawatomie, KS to Anna (Boolin) and Percy Willis. She graduated in 1951 in Clinton High School in Missouri. Following graduation Patricia attended nursing school at Bethany Hospital in Kansas City, KS and earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing. She was united in marriage to James Clay Kettwig September 12, 1954. The couple made their home in Sioux Falls, SD. Patricia had an interesting nursing career in various disciplines within the health care industry. She retired in 1995. Some of Patricia's life interests include reading, crossword puzzles and gardening. She was an avid hunter, fisherman and participated in many other sports.
Patricia is survived by her son James Randall and his wife Kathy of Owatonna, MN and her three Grandchildren Melissa (Matthew) Knutson and Jacob (Debbie) Kettwig both of Burnsville, MN; Kristen (Nicholas) Cuvelier of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Five Great-Grandchildren. Her sister Peggy (RH) McIntosh of Mission, KS; brother Gary R. Lipsis of Clinton, MO; half-brother Jerry (Shirley) Cummings of Andover, KS; half-sister Janice Papps of Moultrie, GA and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother P. Robert.
