Patricia Ruth Manning Fournier (also known as "Pat" and "Mimi") peacefully joined Our Lord in the presence of her loving family on December 6th at her home at the age of 85. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 19, 1932 to the late Josephine Fallo and Patrick Manning. A lifelong resident of Metairie, Louisiana, Pat was preceded in death by her daughter, Danielle Fournier-Marino, who shared the same birthday and passed away just four days prior. She is survived by her beloved husband, Roland Paul Fournier of 66 years. Pat is also survived by her children, Michelle (Shelly) McGoey (Pas), Rochelle Fournier (Tom), Mark Timothy Fournier (Natalie), Stephen Fournier (Monica), and Angelle Albright (Anthony); her Grandchildren, Pascal McGoey, Jr., Adrienne Collier Metz, Marcelle McGoey Delaune, Beau Fournier, Margaret Collier Girourd, Cullen McGoey, Adam Fournier, Connor Fournier, Zachary Albright, Spencer Albright, and Julia Albright, as well as her 12 Great-Grandchildren; and sister, Judy Fallo Myer. She was a beloved mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and dear friend to many. Mimi was a loving matriarch who traveled to London alone with her first born to meet up with my father during the Korean War. Their marriage was a beautiful example of commitment and love to all who knew them. She dedicated 25 years of work in the Accounting Department at Catholic Charities. Upon retirement, she selflessly volunteered to handle the personal finances of religious. She dedicated her life to her role as matriarch of her beloved family, following various activities of all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mimi never failed to cook a meal for innumerable hungry family members every Sunday of her life, especially when her beloved New Orleans Saints were playing. She traveled to every country on her bucket list, and played cards with the same group of friends for over 40 years. She enjoyed musical theater, and attended her favorite shows wherever she travelled. Most of all, she was endlessly devoted to her dear husband, Roland. Pat will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124 on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. Visitation begins at 12:00 p.m., with mass to follow at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
