Rumsey, Patricia Rayola
Of Parma passed away at Allegiance Health Friday, March 27, 2015 at the age of 75. Mrs. Rumsey was the daughter of Harold R. and Rayola P. (Wellman) Gillman, born November 26, 1939 at the Gillman Family Farm on Wellman Road. Pat is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Charles Rumsey; six children, Catherine (Jeff) Mulnix, Elizabeth (Robert) LaPonsey, Craig Rumsey, Charles Rumsey Jr, Laura Taylor, and Donald (Stacy) Rumsey; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Howard (Pat) Gillman and Kevin (Kelly) Gillman; sister, Carole Baker; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Rumsey was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and one sister. She graduated from Jackson Community College in 1975 with her LPN Degree. She retired after 30 years of service with Spring Arbor Assisted Living and Rehabilitation Center. Pat was a member of the Jackson Antique Tractor Club, former member of the Pieces and Patches Quilt Guild and North Parma United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren. Pat enjoyed quilting, antique tractors, baking and cooking. She was loved by many and will be sadly missed. A celebration of her life will be held at the Watson Funeral Chapel in Parma Saturday, April 4, at 11:00 A.M., Reverend Melissa Claxton officiating, inurnment Pope Cemetery following cremation. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses.

Visitation Friday at the funeral chapel from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
