Lindahl, Paul E., 87, of Wichita, Kansas went to be with the Lord on Wed. Dec. 27, 2017 in Wichita. Paul was born the son of John and Augusta (Backlund) Lindahl on Feb. 27, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska. Paul and Virginia Lindahl were united in marriage on Dec. 8, 1967 in Marysville, Ohio. Paul served in the U.S. Navy and Army for 23 years. He retired after 32 years as an X-ray Tech from the VA Hospital in Wichita. He was a charter member of the Andover American Legion and a member of the Omaha VFW. He was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church in Wichita and Order of St. John at Kountze Memorial Lutheran in Omaha. He was an avid Cornhusker fan. Survivors include his loving wife: Virginia Lindahl, children: Edward Lindahl of Augusta, Rick (Gale) Lindahl of Wichita, grandchildren: Craig (Sabrina), Brandon, Jeremy, Kimberly (Aaron) and Brandy and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters. Visitation will be from 10am to 11am on Tues. Jan. 2, 2018 with funeral services following both at Reformation Lutheran Church, 7601 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Reformation Lutheran Church or Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church in Omaha.
