Paul Schagunn A good man, Loved by all! Paul Herman Schagunn, 97, died on Monday, March 5 , 2018, at his home in Vancouver, Washington with his son, Craig, by his side. Paul was born on January 2, 1921 in Richie, Montana, on the family homestead to Herman and Maria Schagunn. He owned and managed his Westland Oil Co. gas station and garage for a number of years in Flaxville, Montana, before moving out west, then moved back to Williston, North Dakota, where he spent the majority of his life, working with Westland Oil Co., in there Sales Department, based out of Minot, North Dakota. And, then later at the Williams County Sheriff’s department in Williston, where he retired. He loved fishing and hunting, and tipping a few with his good old buddied at the Moose Lodge, where he was a member for many years. If you received his patented pat on the back that knocked you in to the next week, you knew he liked you! He is survived by his children: son Craig, wife Dawn Schagunn, and two grandchildren, Kori and Kade, of Vancovuer Washington, son Michael, wife Berta Krassin. Grandson Scott, wife Richie Krassin there two children (Great grandchildren) Calli and Riley Krassin. Calli’s daughter Presley is Paul’s Great, Great Granddaughter. Grandson Chris and wife Elizabeth Krassin and there two children (Great grandchildren) Alex and Nicholas, all of Lander, Wyoming. Son Doug, wife Peggy Krassin of Salem, Oregon, grandchild Jeff, wife Sandra Krassin and thee two children (Great grandchildren) Katia and Max(Maxuel) of El Paso, Texas. Proceeded in death his grandchild Derek Krassin wife Sari Krassin and two children (Great grandchildren) Kai and Malia of Oceanside, California. And, this is where Grandpa gets Grandpa! He was proceeded in death by his wife, Hazel Schagunn and his siblings: Ruth Schagunn (Nordwick), Mata Schagunn (Sather), Erna Schagunn (Hoffman), Minna” Maria” Schagunn (Bosch), Alvin Schagunn, and Karl Schagunn. Service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Chapel, 1101 NE 112th Avenue, Vancouver, Washington 98684, on March 17th, 2018, at 3:00 PM.
