Scotto, Paul J., 67, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was the beloved husband of Debra A. (Ferrante) Scotto. Born in Providence, he was the devoted son of the late Paul J. Scotto and Gloria T. Scotto. Loving husband of 32 years, he was also the devoted father of Paul Joseph, Stephanie Debra, Kristina Jacqueline Brochu and son-in-law Joshua Brochu. Paul was a loving husband and father who dedicated his life to his family and friends. In his quiet and unassuming way, he showed them how much he loved them everyday. His wit and humor made him a remarkable individual. For those who knew Paul, it was his dignity and consideration that drew everyone to him. His funeral is Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. from “WOODLAWN” Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. With a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Barnabus Church 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be private. CALLING HOURS Tuesday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rhode Island Alzheimer's Association 245 Waterman Street #306 Providence, RI 02906.
