Paul Marinus Visser, Sr. of Rising Sun died, Thursday, April 3 at Seasons Hospice at Christiana Hospital. He was 59. Born in Patterson, NJ he was the son of Huibert Visser of FL and Phyllis A. (DeNure) Johnson of MD. Paul was a graduate of Aberdeen High School. He began working for the City of Aberdeen's waste water treatment plant at the age of 18 and had just been recognized for 40 years of service. Paul enjoyed family & friends, NASCAR, camping and football. He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Visser; sons, Paul Visser, Jr. of MD and Jeremy Visser of ID; daughter Chelsea Visser of ID; stepchildren, Kathy Wiggins & Keith Crouse both of MD; brothers, Peter Visser and wife Donna of MD, Gary Visser and fiancé Kellie of MD, John Visser of FL and Glenn Johnson of MD; sister, Leah Visser of MD; brother-in-law, James Formanek; and his four grandchildren, McKenzi Shores, Grady Crouse, Tori Wiggins, and Mason Wiggins. He was predeceased by his sister Debbie Visser Formanek. A visitation will be held at the Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home on Monday, April 7 from 6-9pm where funeral services will beheld on Tuesday, April 8 at 10:00am. Interment was in Cherry Hill Methodist Church Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
