Peter B. Brister Jr., age 25, went to be at peace with the Lord on Wednesday, March 24, 2010. He was born on March 25, 1984, in Warren, the son of the late Peter B. Brister Sr. and Debra L. (Parkinson) Parsons. Pete had attended Lakeview High School where he played football and was currently a student at YSU. He is survived by his mother, Debby (Bob) Parsons of Cortland; his girlfriend Cristin Pizzulo and their son, Tristan Brister, a daughter, Olivia Squibbs-Larman, one sister, Beth (Will) Brister of Cortland and three brothers, Chris (Julie) Brister, Josh Brister and Jake Brister, all of Cortland. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 28, 2010, from 2 PM - 4 PM at the Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland. A memorial service will be held at 4 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Monitary donation may be made in lieu of flowers at the funeral home. Family and friends may view this obituary and send condolences at www.shaferwinanschapel.com
