Phyllis R. Avary, 84, of Clearwater Florida went to be with her Lord while under the care of hospice in the home of her daughter, Lucy Sawaska in Inverness Florida. She was born in Dayton Ohio May 13,1933 to the late Arthur and Agnes Wallace.



Phyllis is survived by her children Lorraine Cushman, LeeAnn (Tim) Thorne, Kevin Avary and Lucinda Sawaska, step-daughters Diane (Steve) Zook and Sue Ussery, grandchildren Dustin Harrison, Lisa Wagner, Kelly Beckstrand, Brianna Flanary, Amber Tyson, Brandi Carter, Joe Sawaska, Katrina Sawaska, Bridgette Avary, Step - grandchildren Scott Zook, Stephanie Ussery, Robb Ussery, Jim Ussery, Great grandchildren Shannon Wagner, Bryce Stover, Annie Beckstrand, Dominique Carter, Logan Tyson, Daniel Beckstrand, Reese Tyson, Bliss Tyson, Waylon Carter, Elise Beckstrand, Brendan Flanary, step great grandchildren Kendal Ussery and Chloe Zook, a sister Elaine Harsanyi, sister-in-law Barbara Andrews, brother-in-law Johnny Bob Avary, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



She is preceded in death by her beloved husband James W. Avary, her infant son Kurt Derek Avary, stepson Jim Ussery, her brothers Art Wallace, Ray Wallace, Rick Wallace and Tom Wallace, and her sister Eileen Wallace.



Phyllis enjoyed playing her piano until she discovered the organ which she instantly feel in love with. She practiced and entertained family and friends for countless hours playing her organ. She loved cheering on her Tampa Bay Buccaneers along with her favorite - Tampa Bay Water Ski Show Team where her grandchildren Joe and Katrina Sawaska performed with many other team members who grew to love their "Granny Cheerleader". She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and any other family members and friends who came to visit.
