DUKES, Pilar Madilyn, age 16 of Riverside, Ohio passed on to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 25, 2017. She was preceded in death by her father Bruce Dukes, grandmother, Imogene Jones, grandfathers Merle Jones, James Robert Dukes, and uncles Rick and Bubby Dukes. Pilar is survived by her mother Gloria Dukes, brother Bruce (Lisa) Dukes II, aunts and uncles Theresa Caudill, Elaine Jones, Ronny Jones, Stephanie (Steve) Whittaker, Jay Jones, great-uncles Junior, Jerry and Everett Jones, grandmother Loraine Jackson, Barb (Rick) Dukes, Stacy Vincent, Harold Vincent III, cousins , Josh (Shaun) and their children Quinn, Eli, Adalyn, Jeff (Hannah), Wesley and his daughter Alayna, Alex, Tessa, Max, Ricky (Amber) and their children Ricky Jr., Jonathan and Jimmy Joe, Shyanne and her son Cooper, as well as Lenny, D.J. and Merle, a special cousin-in-law Emmett Keeton, a very dear family friend Kumar Brown and many, many more family members and friends to whom she adored and who adored her. Pilar was a beautiful young girl that had a blossoming bright future ahead of her. She brought that same beauty to all that knew her. She shared her grace, kindness, and love with us for only a short time, but the effects of her sweet sixteen years with us will last a lifetime. Her creativity and humor filled our lives with much needed happiness. The joy she brought to us flowed as easy as the music she dearly loved to listen too. If you wanted someone to talk with or just simply sit next to, Pilar was that person. She loved nature and all the little creatures in it (dogs: Hank, Russell, Zoey and Zayne). She had forgiveness and compassion for all. She was going on vacation in June to Disney World and the beach, but sadly they will not see her. Her eyes could see through any darkness and she could open you up with her smile. Her family was here when time started for her and we are here when her time on this earth stopped. We are finding peace with her tragic passing knowing she achieved the greatest gift this earth has to offer...to give love and to be loved. Funeral services will be held at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL. The family will receive relatives and friends for the viewing services from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 30 and the funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, March 31, 2017 with interment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
