R. "Easy" Reiter, 72, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, January 1, 2017. He was born on June 18, 1944 to the late Earl and Marie Reiter. He attended Precious Blood and graduated from Central Catholic High School. Easy was a very hard worker and was always determined to do his best. He worked for Momper Insulation, Trevino Tile, and retired from Tile Interiors. He was a fun-loving guy who loved to spend time with friends and family at his favorite places Coldwater Lake, MI, and Outer Banks, NC. Easy loved all kinds of car racing and his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt. He was also an avid IU basketball fan. He is survived by so many loving and supportive people including, his wife, Connie; sons, Bryce of Fort Wayne, Mark (Jaime) of Batavia, Ohio; daughter, Sheri of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Ashli, Madi, Grace, Ben, and Nathan Reiter; brother, John; in-laws, Sharon (Rich) Schlaudroff, Jeff (Jane) Lichtsinn, Sue Groh; nieces and nephews, Angela (Damon) Troxel, Jamie (Mike) Salmons, Trevor Brooks, Kelsey Lichtsinn, Emily (Austin) Kindig, great nieces and nephews, Amber DeLorey, Courtney Groh, Justin Troxel, Zach Groh, Sierra and Shyla Salmons, Giovanni, Isabella, and Therese Kindig, great nephew and very special buddy, Aiden Lichtsinn, great great niece, Bella Salmons; many cousin-in-laws; and dear friends. Funeral service will be 5:00 pm on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 3:30 pm. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Riley Hospital for Children or St. Jude Children' Hospital.
