Rachel Assumption Crow was born on August 15, 1933 in Ventura
CA. to Roman from Yahualica, Jalisco Mexico and Andrea Garcia
from Nangue, Jalisco Mexico, the youngest of nine children.
Rachel lived in Ventura for her first 20 years before marrying the
love of her life Charles Burton Crow on October 19th 1952. They
were married for 46 years before his passing. After a few years
living in Ventura they moved their family to Santa Monica, than on
to Canoga Park where they called home for over 55 years and
raised their 5 children Robert, Joseph, Carrie Montenegro,
Rosett Schoenwald and Charlie.

Rachel was a devoted wife and loving mother to her family, a very
giving person who touched many people's lives at her local church,
Our Lady of the Valley and the Guadalupe Center through out her
adult life. After raising her children, Rachel was a translator for many
local Doctors.Was an avid walker and loved to dance to her favorite
music by Salena. Later on in life Rachel worked at St. Bernardine's
Pre-school as a teacher's assistant for many years before retiring.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and son Joseph.
Rachel is survived by her four children Robert, Carrie, Rosett and
Charlie and her Grandchildren, Monica, Andrew, Amber, Chad,
Joshua and her Great Grandchildren, Savannah, Nathan, Brandt,
Banks and her sisters Mary and Gloria. Rachel passed away quietly
on February 1st, 2017 to be with her Lord.

Viewing will be held on Monday, February 6th from 6:00 to 8:00
pm at Gates, Kingsley & Gates, 6909 Canoga Ave., Canoga Park,
CA. withFuneral Mass on Tuesday, February 7th at 9:30 am,
St. Bernadine's Catholic Church,6061 Valley Circle Blvd., Woodland
Hills, CA.followed by a burial at Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth
and a gathering to follow at St. Bernadine's Hall.
