Born in Charleston, S.C., Rader was the son of William and Susan Ward and brother of Lindsay Ward. He was an adept computer programmer and he loved to create and play video games. Additionally, Rader was a talented rock climber and boulderer at The Mountain Goat in Greenville. In 2012, he earned his first degree black belt in tae kwon do at the age of 10. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 2-3:45 p.m. at The Mackey Mortuary.

A memorial service to celebrate Rader’s life will follow at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of The Mackey Mortuary.
