Rafael was born on February 6, 1924 and passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017.

Rafael was a resident of Georgia.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II the Korean War and the Vietnam Conflict before retiring as a Staff Sergeant.

Visitation with SSgt. Aguila-Galan's family will be Tuesday May 16 2017 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 1:00 p.m.on Wednesday May 17 2017 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Father Fred Nijem officiating. SSgt. Aguila-Galan will be laid to rest at Magnolia Park Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or donations be made to the American Diabetes Association 223 Peachtree Street Harris TowerSuite 2225 Atlanta GA 30303.
