Raye Ledbetter, 89, of Blytheville, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at her home.
Raye was born in Blytheville to Charles and Mary (Hardin) Lucius. She was a retired cafeteria worker at Blytheville High School. Raye was a member of Gosnell Baptist Church where she was a longtime Sunday school teacher. She liked to cook and loved her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rayon Ledbetter; her parents; great-great grandchildren, Joey and Jonas Jones and Josslyn Jones; brothers, Sonny and Buddy Lucius; and sister, Shirley Lane.
Raye leaves her daughter, Kathy Parker and her husband Michael of Hernando, Mississippi; sisters, Jewell "Sissy" Sanders of Cherokee Village and Jeanie Leveque of Blytheville; granddaughters, Michelle Jones and Milynda Richardson; and great- grandchildren, Jered Jones, Marley Richardson, and Mason Mullins.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 1st at 10:00 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Eddie Clemons officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home.
