Raymond Crum Boykin, Sr. died December 21, 2017. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during World War II in the Pacific theatre. Boykin was an Elder Emeritus at Trinity Presbyterian Church and also the founding Headmaster at Trinity Presbyterian School. He was born April 23, 1921 to Chollet Berney and Sallie Clyde Crum Boykin. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Crum Boykin and his wife, Elizabeth Pelzer Joseph Boykin. He is survived by their children Edna Frances (Tutter) Boykin Rogers (Dr. C. M. A.), Raymond Crum Boykin, Jr. (Ethel) and Alice Chollet (Chelly) Boykin. Also preceding Boykin in death were his brother Chollet Berney Boykin, sister Frances Boykin Hinson and his second wife Sarah Cunningham Boykin. Surviving grandchildren are Elizabeth Rogers Reaves (William) and Charles McPherson Aduston Rogers IV (Staci). Surviving great-grandchildren are Elizabeth Crum Reaves, Lallie Frances Rogers, Charles McPherson Aduston Rogers V and William Pelzer Reaves. Also surviving him is his brother Benjamin Crum Boykin (Kathleen).

The family would also like to thank his caregivers Bernice Bailey, Rose Mary Rainey and Eric Barnes.

A Private family burial will take place December 24, 2017 at 1 PM at Greenwood Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 2 PM with a visitation at 12:30 PM at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1728 South Hull Street, Montgomery, Alabama.
