Raymond was born on April 11, 1932 and passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017.

Raymond was a resident of Lorain, Ohio at the time of passing.

Mr. Swanson was a 1950 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Plains.

He served in the U.S. Navy as a submariner during the Korean conflict.

Friends will be received on Friday August 11 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM in the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home 700 West Erie Avenue Lorain, Ohio, 44052 where the rosary will be prayed at 6:00PM. Prayers will be said on Saturday August 12 at 9:15AM in the funeral home prior to the funeral mass which will be offered on 10:00 AM at Nativity BVM at 418 West 15 Street Lorain, Ohio with Reverend Fr. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain with full military honors.
