Rebecca Lea Farkas, 36, received her wings and is resting in paradise.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2016, at Hanes Lineberry Vanstory Chapel, 1900 Vanstory Street, Greensboro. Interment will follow in Westminster Gardens Cemetery, 3601 Whitehurst Road, Greensboro.

Rebecca was born June 3, 1979, in Greensboro, NC. She graduated from Smith High School in 1997 and attended GTCC receiving her medical coding and medical transcription certificates. She loved her family, scrapbooking, daisies, couponing, the beach, taking pictures; specifically selfies and traveling.

Most know she was a very giving person; watching many children through the years for her family and friends and she was the family planner for everything. She will truly be missed by all. Rebecca's family was her world.

Mrs. Farkas was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Carter and her uncle, John Pearman. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jonathan "J.J." Farkas; daughter, Haley Pearman; parents, Scott and Desiree Bowman; step-daughter, Mahkala Savage; sister, Melissa Carter; brother, Jeffrey Pearman, II; uncles and aunts, Jamie Pearman and wife, Sandy, Joey Pearman, Janna Wiles and husband, Johnny, Judy Weeks and husband, Brad, Jarrett Pearman, Anthony Watkins and wife, Mary, Alan Watkins and wife, Cindy, Gary Watkins and wife, Paula; maternal grandparents, Tommy Garland and Artie Watkins and her paternal grandparents, Clifford and Brenda Bowman.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m., Thursday at Hanes Lineberry Vanstory Chapel.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Gustav Magrinat and Valerie who were instrumental in taking such wonderful care of Rebecca and her family.
