Rebecca Ruth (Billingsley) Waller-Collins, age 69, was born April 18, 1948 in Fresno, California, the daughter of Charles Winchell "Buck" Billingsley and Ritta Mae (McCauley).
Rebecca was a remarkably talented craftswoman with a multitude of skills including quilting, crocheting, sewing, and needlepoint. She frequently blessed her loved ones with handmade gifts that were a reflection of her talent and hard work, as well as her deep love for those lucky enough to receive them.
She loved Fort Towson and was very involved in her community, devoting much of her time to volunteer activities and civic events. She served as the secretary/ treasurer of Friends of the Fort for a decade and was recently honored by the organization with a plaque for her devoted service and generous commitment of time, support, and inspiration over the years. She was active in church, always helping other members to celebrate their birthdays as well as being instrumental in helping to establish programs such as the Soldier Gift Box program. Rebecca was cherished by many and leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and friendship. Her loss will be felt deeply.
