Richard was born on January 26, 1937 and passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019.

Richard was a resident of New York at the time of passing.

He graduated from St. Basil's High School at 17, earned a B.S. from East Stroudsburg University and a Master's from Temple.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 11th at 8:45 at Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, 137 Robinson St, Binghamton, followed by a 9:30 funeral mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Thursday, Oct. 10th from 4-8 pm at Shea Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Danielle House or to the St. Basil's Storm Damage Fund, www.ihmdushore.com.
