Tompkins, Richard J. on May 13, 2017 age 87yrs. of Glenside. Husband of the late Margaret K. Tompkins (nee Kardish). Mother of Richard (Marianne), Stephen, Robert (Cornelia), Thomas (Celeste), Patrick (John), William (Gayl), Margaret Spasari (Joseph) and Joan Voltmer (Egon). Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and Margaret Tompkins and his siblings William, Margaret Gallagher, Robert and Katherine. Funeral Mass Wednesday 11:00AM at Church of St. Luke the Evangelist 2316 Fairhill Ave. (at Easton Rd.) Glenside, PA 19038. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Tuesday night from 6 to 8PM at William R. May Funeral Home 354 N. Easton Rd. (at Keswick Ave.) Glenside, PA 19038 and Wednesday 9:30 to 11:00AM at the Church.
