Richard was born on August 25, 1937 and passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018.

Richard was a resident of Louisiana at the time of passing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Infant of Prague Catholic Church. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. Semper Fidelis and God Bless America Jones Funeral Home - Jacksonville Thursday February 15th, 2018 6:00pm - 8:00pm 303 Chaney Avenue Jacksonville , NC 28540 A Mass of Christian Burial Infant of Prague Catholic Church Friday February 16th, 2018 11:00am 205 Chaney Ave Jacksonville, NC 28540 Infant of Prague Cathlic Church Parrish Hall Friday February 16th, 2018 12:30pm - 2:30pm 505 Bordeaux Street Jacksonville, NC 28540.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to The American Legion Post 265-Jacksonville, PO Box 13, Jacksonville, NC 28541; The Military Order Of The Purple Heart Chapter 642, 1006 Oak Drive, Jacksonville, NC 28546; and Meals on Wheels Onslow County, 4024 Richlands Highway, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
