Richard "Lynn" McKinley, 84, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. He was born on November 15, 1933 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Opal Harrington McKinley and Charles McKinley II.

Lynn served his country honorably in the United States Army and the Naval Reserves. He retired from Mobil Oil after 37 years as a processing operator. Lynn loved to golf with friends, garden, attend all of his grandkids activities and cheer on the Lamar Cardinals Baseball team. If you ever asked Lynn, he would say his greatest accomplishment was his three children.

He is preceded in death by his sister Bettie Jo Rayburn.

Lynn is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jo Ann Wright McKinley; children, Suzette Molnar and her husband Steve, Jo Lynn Branick and her husband Jesse, and Rick McKinley and his wife Becky; grandchildren, Jeslyn Branick, Jena Branick, Kelly Molnar, Weston McKinley and Anna Kate McKinley; and brother Charles "Bubba" A. McKinley III and his wife Gail.

A Celebration of Lynn's Life will be held at the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Saturday, December 2 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
