Richard was born on August 12, 1947 and passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017.

Richard was a resident of Oxford, Ohio at the time of passing.

His most recent cycle-riding buddy was Steve Lintner, wife Lynette's cousin. Rick graduated Talawanda High School in 1965, playing baseball his sophomore year, eventually earning an Associate Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute in June 1974 after military service.

After High School, Rick enlisted and served in the US Air Force 1965 to 1969, stationed in England.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may made to the Future Care Fund at The Knolls of Oxford.
