Richard W. Hawley, passed away August 25, 2016, at the Halifax Health Hospital in Daytona Beach, Florida. Born in Hamilton Square, Richard was raised in New Jersey and resided there for 85 years. He moved to Port Orange, F.L. to be close to his daughter, Susan and his immediate family after his wife passed away. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Lottie (Chamberlin) Hawley; his wife of 66 years, Carolyn M. Hawley; his two sisters, Ella Mae and Martha; and a brother, Thomas; he is survived by and his memory will always be cherished by his loving daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Gary Froehlich of Port Orange; a granddaughter, Kristie Christ and her husband, Tim, of New Smyrna; two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Jennifer Christ; his sister, Marion Pullen of Allentown, N.J.; his sister and brother-in-law, Maude and Hilton Buckalew of New Egypt, N.J.; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Liz Arendt of Hamilton Sq., N.J. and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services and Interment will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mr. Hawley's memory to a charity of your choice by visiting In Memory Of at www.inmemoryof-memorial.org. Arrangements are under the direction of the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.
