Robert A. Paoletti, age 97, of Kingston, formerly of Plymouth, died Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Lifecare Center in Plymouth. He was the husband of the late Iole (Marvelli) Paoletti, and the son of the late Giuseppe and Nazzarena (Vignarri) Paoletti. Robert was born in Italy, and moved with his parents to Plymouth at the age of three. He lived many years in Plymouth before moving to Kingston in recent years, and worked in sales at Fernandez Grocery Store. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Plymouth Post #40 for 74 years. Robert is survived by his daughter Barbara Collins and her longtime companion Jerry of Kingston, his son Peter Paoletti and his wife Kim of New Hampshire and his three sisters Mary Diegoli of Plymouth, Laura Brigida of Plymouth and Eva Roy of New Hampshire, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Paul Paoletti. His funeral will be held in the CARTMELL FUNERAL HOME, 150 Court St., Plymouth on Monday at 11AM. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Plymouth. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 4:00PM - 7:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 10 Commerce Way, Raynham, MA 02767.
