A Life Well Loved.

Robert Brian Pugh, age 61, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 after a fatal car accident.

Brian was born on December 22, 1955, in Kansas City, MO, to Bob and Alice Pugh. He had one younger sister, Sherrie Lindsey. Sherrie resides in a Lees Summit, MO, with her husband Bill.

Brian is survived by his wife, Cindy; his sons Stephen and David Pugh; his daughters Lauren Hodgson and Kristen Pugh; his son-in-law Jason Hodgson; and his grandchildren Haven Hodgson, Rayna Hodgson, and Owen Hodgson.

Brian was a hardworking, humble, and kind man. He worked tirelessly to support and lead his family personally, professionally and spiritually. He stood as an example of how to be a businessman, a father, a husband, and a friend.

Brian loved deeply and passionately. His love and passion for Jesus was apparent everywhere he went, as he stretched out loving and accepting arms to anyone who would take them, and even some who wouldn’t. He loved people with everything he had, and could make you feel like you were his best friend, or the only one in the room. He laughed with you, he cried with you, and wasn’t afraid of tough love. But it was always love.

It was the simple things around him in life that he never took for granted, commenting daily how fortunate and thankful he was for the beauty and provision of Jesus. He was a man of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ, that loving unconditionally was the only way to live, and that beauty and peace would await him in heaven when he meets Jesus.
