Robert C. Lorette 78, of Troy, New Hampshire, died at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from complication of injuries received at his home earlier in the week.

He was born in Troy, NH on August 30, 1939 the son of Herbert C. and Orpa J. (Patria) Lorette.

He was a lifelong resident of Troy, attended local schools and was a graduate of Troy High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the US Air Force in 1965 and served as an Airman First Class as an antenna specialist and was honorably discharged from active duty in 1967.

He was the owner of the Red Shed Antiques in Troy which he operated with his late wife Shirley for many years. Following her passing he continue his love of antiques and traveled throughout New England to auctions and antique shows.

He enjoyed hunting, especially deer hunting and was always hoping to get a Moose Lottery permit. He was a member of the Fitzwilliam Fish and Game Club.

He is survived by his son, Reginald "Reggie" Mitchell of Troy, NH; his nephew Tony Harris of Harrisville, NH; a special uncle "Bucky"; a sister Beverly Whitney and her husband Jack of St. Cloud, FL; several other nieces and nephews and his friend and neighbor Danny Firman.

Graveside services will be held at the Mountain View Cemetery, Route 12, Troy on Tuesday, November 14th at 11:30 a.m. There are no visiting hours.
