Robert (aka Bob) David Surovchak passed away at his home in Rockledge, Florida on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the age of 49.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Tami of 16 years. They were married in San Diego on April 28, 2001.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Tami Surovchak and his dog Riley of Florida, stepdaughter Sara of Georgia, mother Marci Surovchak of Georgia, brothers Scott and his wife Gloria of Colorado and Kevin and his wife Kim of Georgia, loving nieces Jessi, Ally, and Casey, and loving nephews Dakota and Jake. Bob is predeceased by his father, Richard and his brother, Bill Surovchak.

Bob was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1967. He graduated from Bethel Park High School in 1985, went on to earn a Bachelor Degree from Penn State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science, and a Masters Degree in Information Technology Management from the Naval Post Graduate School in 1998. Bob was a Commander in the United States Navy serving 13 years active duty and reservist for 14 years. He currently worked as a Systems Engineer for Alstom USA.

He loved spending time with his family, sunsets, soccer, kayaking, wood working, renovating, mountain biking, volunteering for the Wounded Warrior Project, craft beer tastings or an aged glass of scotch, and long rides on his motorcycle. Bob's dream was to purchase a boat and go to the Bahamas; we believe he is on that final journey now, but the final destination is heaven.

The Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 1136 Seminole Dr. FL 32955 at 11 am. Another opportunity to celebrate Bob's life will be The Funeral Mass at the same location on April 29th, at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HCMA, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association @ 4hcm.org. Condolences for the family may be offered online at www.dignitymemorial.com.
