Robert E. Branch, Sr., 73 years old of Amite, Louisiana, passed away at home with his family by his side on Saturday, March 18, 2017. He was born on Thursday, December 23, 1943, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Locy and Sarah Branch. Robert enjoyed life and loved to hunt and fish, but he especially loved spending time with his family.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Martha Rodriguez Branch, his daughters, Robin Walker and her husband Tracy, Janet Branch, Martha Hagan, Penny Toney, Tina David and her husband Eddie, Julianna Branch and Cierra McDaniel, his sons, Gus Garza and his wife Wendy and Robert Branch, Jr., 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, also numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Locy and Sara Branch and his sister, Jeanette Williams.

A Memorial Visitation for Robert will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Arpadhon Hungarian Settlement Cultural Association, 29025 LA 43, Albany, LA 70711. A Celebration of Life for Robert will immediately follow visitation at 4:00pm. The Rev. Rick Dickson will officiate.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes all memorial donations be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, P.O. Box 4196, Monroe, Louisiana 71211 in Robert's memory.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.
