Robert was born on August 17, 1925 and passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016.
Robert was a resident of Putnam, Connecticut at the time of his passing.
Putnam High School graduate, Class of 1944.
Bob served in the Army Air Corp. a WWII Veteran serving with the China Berma India Theatre as a communications specialist at the rank of Sergeant.
He was married to Emma (Paine) Ellsworth.
Calling hours will be Friday, September 16, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam. A Graveside Service will be Saturday at 10:30 AM in Abington Cemetery, Pomfret, CT.
