Robert K. VanHuffel, 50, of Auburn, OH, formerly of Warren, passed away at his home May 16, 2013 due to complications of Diabetes. Robert was born January 17, 1963 in Warren, OH, son of Isadore VanHuffel and Marilyn (VanHuffel) Townsend. He is survived by his mother Marilyn VanHuffel Townsend; six brothers and sisters, Trish (Matt) Chase , Gretchen (Joe) Altomonte, Howard (Terry) VanHuffel, Bill (Mindy) VanHuffel , Seth (Jahnis) Townsend and Samantha (Dennis) Moloney; nieces and nephews, Beth (Jason) Townsend, Nick (Kerry) Martinez, Michael Altomonte, Jenna (Ryan) Wollenberg, Abby (PJ) Myer, Elizabeth, Gracie, David, Michael and Ava Van Huffel, Colin Santilli, Aaron Townsend and Max Moloney. He was preceded in death by his father Isadore VanHuffel. A Memorial service will be held 10 AM Saturday May 25, 2013 at the First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Ave, Warren OH 44483. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:15 until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bob's name to the Geauga Humane Society's Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Rd. Russell TWP, OH 44072 or the American Diabetes Association.
