Robert Langenberg Bridgewater, NJ Robert William Langenberg, 76, of Bridgewater, New Jersey, passed away on October 10, 2016. "Bob" was born in Fredericksburg, Virginia and grew up in Raritan, NJ. He graduated with both Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Rutgers University, and additionally completed a certification in Executive Management from Yale University. He was a loyal member of the PSE&G team for his entire career, working in offices from one end of the state to the other. Bob finished his career as an executive working as their General Manager for their Newark, N.J. headquarters, and enjoyed getting together with his fellow PSE&G retirees every other month. Bob volunteered his time with a variety of organizations, including serving as the Campaign Chairman for the United Way of Burlington County. He enjoyed spending his time with family and friends, reading any number of books each week, traveling with his loving wife Betty, fishing with his grandchildren, rooting for the Yankees and Giants, and watching wildlife wherever he could. Throughout his life he particularly liked to be around horses. An avid hunter, Bob was a former owner and officer of the O.R. Hunting Club in New York State. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Langenberg (Cardillo). Devoted father of Todd Robert Langenberg and his wife Jennifer Langenberg of Baltimore, Maryland, and Heather Cardillo Langenberg and her husband Kalen Baxter of Cockeysville, Maryland. Loving grandfather of William, Elizabeth, Brady, Wyatt and Lilly. Caring brother to Dorothy Jean Uken and her husband David Uken of Moneta, Virginia and Douglas Langenberg and his wife Katherine Langenberg of Weston, Massachusetts. Predeceased are his parents William and Dorothy Langenberg of Raritan, NJ. Viewing at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 will be held on Thursday, October 13th from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Funeral services will start with a prayer at 9:00am at the funeral home on Friday, October 14, 2016 followed by a 10:00am funeral liturgy at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 1890 Washington Valley Road, Martinsville, NJ 08836. Committal will be private.
