Robert was born on April 16, 1929 and passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017.

Robert was a resident of Rhode Island at the time of passing.

Following high school, at the age of 21, he became a proud member of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean conflict.

A visitation will be held on Thursday MORNING, from 8 - 9:45 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Veronica's Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett. Burial with military honors will follow at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roberts's name to the: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 or The American Heart Association, 222 Richmond St. # 108, Providence, RI, 02903.
