Robert was born on April 16, 1932 and passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018.

Robert was a resident of Export, Pennsylvania at the time of passing.

He also served in the Army as a tank mechanic.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, with funeral services commencing at 11 a.m., at BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381, with the Rev. Mark A. Werner, S.T.M., presiding. Interment services will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, with full military honors provided by American Legion Post 981 of Greensburg. Donations may be made to: St. Paul Lutheran Church 108 Dutch Hill Road, Latrobe PA 15650 Visitation at the Delmont Location from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on February 14, 2018.
