LEWISTON: Roger L. Dostie, 54, of Auburn passed away on Sunday June 18, 2017 at CMMC in Lewiston with both of his loving sons at his side. He was born in Lewiston on September 2, 1962 a son of the late Gerard and Germaine (Giguere) Dostie. He grew up in the Auburn area and attended local schools there. He was a graduate of Edward Little High School, class of 1980. In the summer of 1980, Roger joined the National Guard and proudly served his country. In 1985 he married Karen Greeley in Lewiston and they started a family together. During that time he worked for Country Kitchen and later for Phillips Elmet where he would stay for 29 years before he retired. He loved his job and he greatly excelled at it as well. Roger loved being in the outdoors. You could often find him hunting or fishing with his boys, whom he taught from a very young age to now or on his boat just taking in the wonders of nature and the beauty of it that surrounded him. One of his favorite spots with his boys and his friends was up at Moosehead. There were many other spots too. He will, without a doubt, be deeply missed by many.

Roger is survived by his former wife, Karen Couillard of Auburn and his two sons, Justin Dostie of Auburn and Chad Dostie and his wife Bethany of Wales. He also leaves behind his three sisters and two brothers; Gerald Dostie and his wife Jackie, Gene Dostie, Diane Steward and her husband Gil, Linda Bourgoin and her husband Dan and Lisa Dostie and her significant other David Day all of Auburn as well as his three grandchildren; Harmony, Liam and Tate all of Wales and several nieces and nephews. Condolences may be shared with his family at
