Roger L. Martin, 56, of Lake Park, died on Sunday, September 8, 2013, at his home. Roger was a construction worker by trade and worked at Alexander Construction for many years. He loved music and sang with the Master Quartet from Madison, Florida. Survivors include one brother, David Powell and wife Linda of Homerville; a sister-in-law, Maureen Powell of Macon; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton F. Martin of Watertown, NY; his mother, Evelyn K. Martin of Homerville; and one brother, Thomas "Tim" Powell of Nashville. A graveside service for Roger will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013, at North Cemetery in Dupont. Services will be conducted by Pastor and good friend Murrell Bennett. Condolences may be expressed to Roger's family at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home, Valdosta.
