Roger W. Booher, age 72, of West Milton, formerly of Butler Township, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. He was born February 4, 1943 to the late Pat & Ruth (Spitler) Booher in Ludlow Falls, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his brother Kenny Booher. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Kathy (Roush) Booher of 49 years; sons Tony W. Booher of West Milton, Steve W. (Christy) Booher of West Milton; grandchildren Cody W., Levi W., Dustin W., Jade (Zack) Combs, Laken; great grandchildren Raylin and Cooper Combs; siblings Richard (Cookie) Booher of Ludlow Falls, Jim (Linda) Booher of West Milton, Donald (Connie) Booher of West Milton, and Patsy (Tom) Wray of West Milton; sister-in-laws Evelyn Rizzo, Alice (Sam) Rizzo, Irene (Joe) Swisshelm. Roger was a 1961 Milton-Union High School Graduate, served his country proudly in the United States Army, and worked at General Motors, Vandalia Plant for 30 years. He loved to fish, hunt, go line dancing and spending time with his grand kids. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with Pastor John Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery with full military honors. Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, March 31 at the funeral home.
