Mrs. Rosalie Necessary Harper, age 80, of Jonesboro, GA passed away June 2, 2017. Mrs. Harper was born in Roda, VA the daughter of the late Oralee Greer Necessary and George Franklin Necessary. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Ernest Harper and several siblings.

Mrs. Harper enjoyed spending time with family, spoiling her grandchildren, traveling to the mountains, red roses, and loved the color pink.

Survivors are her children, Michael Harper (Julie) of Woodstock, Timm Harper (Miae) and of Jackson, John Harper (Michelle) of Winter Springs, FL, Mark Harper (Kathy) of St. Cloud, FL, Debbie Harper of McDonough and Danita Pippin (Gary) of Kissimmee, FL.; grandchildren, Natalie Anderson, Noah Harper, Joshua Harper, Matthew Harper, Timiae Knoll, Arthur Harper, Adam Walker, Richie Harper, Heather Harper, Raelynn Harper, Sabrina Pippin, Lexi Pippin and Nick Pippin; 10 great grandchildren; and grand dog, Mollie.

A memorial service for Mrs. Harper will be on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 – 1:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00 – 1:00 PM. Inurnment will follow in Monroe, GA.
