Roy was born on March 29, 1927 and passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.

Roy was a resident of Grand Island, Nebraska at the time of passing.

He entered the United States Navy on April 11, 1944 and served during WWII, he was honorably discharged on May 23, 1946.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Apfel Funeral Home with the Reverend Lonnie Logan officiating. Visitation will be Friday, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later time.
